Children's Miracle Network Hospitals® raises funds and awareness for 170 member hospitals that provide 32 million treatments each year to kids across the U.S. and Canada. Donations stay local to fund critical treatments and healthcare services, pediatric medical equipment and charitable care.
We are proud to call Children's Miracle Network Hospitals our philanthropy. We participate in Knight-Thon and host a number of super fun activities throughout the semester to raise funds for Children's Miracle Network Hospitals. We also tour the Arnold Palmer Children's Hospital to see exactly how our funds are used! We also bring families into our chapter to learn about the impact of our philanthropy on their lives.
The mission of Knight-Thon, the University of Central Florida’s Miracle Network Dance Marathon and largest student run philanthropy, is to educate, inspire, and unite our campus and community to provide ongoing support for Greater Orlando Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals. Through our efforts, we will forever stand for the children and families we are privileged to serve. The FL Beta Chapter was the highest fundraising chapter for the Children’s Miracle Network in 2018, raising over $37,000 for the kids.
For The Kids We Are!
Each PhiDE chapter partners with a local CMN Hospital to volunteer and fundraise. As their current and future physicians, this organization is dear to our members. Each year, in October, we host our international philanthropy day, Stand For The Kids, where every chapter stands on campus to raise awareness for the local hospital and raises fund to help with operational costs.
The Anatomy Fashion Show is an event that has been held by many Phi Delta Epsilon chapters across the nation to help showcase the artistry behind the human body and help fundraise for Children’s Miracle Network.
